The event brought together key project representatives to showcase innovative applications ranging from transmission and visualisation of patient information, using augmented and virtual reality to drone-enabled healthcare logistics, robotic surgery and telemedicine; while also addressing the technical and operational role of edge infrastructure in hospital settings. A key objective was to identify remaining regulatory and policy gaps that hinder cross-border healthcare services and multi-country deployments.
